Stock of Better Plate Blocks, Three stockbooks packed with plate blocks from the 1920s and '30s in moderate quantities. Highlights include 548 (3), 615 (5), 627 (23), 629 (7), 640-49 (2), C7-9, C10 (3), C12 (5), C46 (47), RW12, RW13 (2), etc., etc. Also includes a White Plains souvenir sheet, a $5 Prexie centerline block and two arrow blocks, a multitude of 2¢ red commemoratives and a few odds and ends like imprint strips of 3 #267/279B (26 including shades), and a 3¢ Prexie booklet with 50% plate no. The stock, which is part two from a similar lot we offered in our Sale 304, was assembled many years ago and is virtually all F-VF. Every block is in a mount and, while we didn't check every block, we looked at enough to convince us that, except for the 267/279B strips, it is probably 99% NH! A terrific lot.
